PENNSYLVANIA CATTRON GROUP acquired CN’s BELTPACK business including CANAC REMOTE CONTROL TECHNOLOGIES (formerly Vectran Corp.) in the middle of last October. Then on Nov. 2, Cattron said it had also acquired REMTRON. Cattron Group is the parent company of CATTRON-THEIMEG a leading international manufacturer of industrial remote control products and professional services.

Canac Remote Control Technologies and Beltpack products include the Beltpack and Cantrac radio remote control systems for locomotives.
