TORONTO - From our friends at CAMESE we have learned that representatives of PHELPS DODGE of Phoenix, Arizona, are coming to Canada in November to meet suppliers.
Its recent interest in buying into Canada's mining industry has led one of the world's largest mining companies to want to know more about the Canadian mining supply sector. This major copper producer is an enlightened buyer, open to forging new relationships that will benefit their operations. They have therefore asked CAMESE to organize an event that will allow their top purchasers to meet existing and potential suppliers.
The conference will take place at the Sheraton Hotel and Convention Centre near the junction of highways 404 and 407 just north of Toronto on Nov. 13-14, 2006. This promises to be an excellent opportunity for CAMESE members to make top-level contacts with purchasers knowledgeable in several different areas of mining supply. Participation will be limited.
