PERU - The Pasto Bueno tungsten mine 830 km north of Lima has reached commercial production. The mine belongs to DYNACOR MINES of Montreal, which said it had achieved mill throughput of 150 t/d. The milling rate is expected to continue to increase over the coming weeks to 250 t/d.

Pasto Bueno has a proven and probable reserve of 223,750 tons at an average grade of 2.04% WO3. Results from the current 10,000-m drilling program may well increase known mineralization and allow the life of the project to be extended beyond three years.
