UNDERGROUND MINE TENDER – Norilsk Seeks Contractor for New Nickel Mine Complex

RUSSIA - MMC Norilsk Nickel is looking for a contractor to design and construct a new mining complex at the Skalisty mine, part of its Polar division operations in the Taimyr Peninsula.

The complex will be a major component of Norilsk's plans to continue developing mining operations in the region. A key component of the project is a vertical shaft descending more than 2 km, which will provide exhaust ventilation and hoisting capacity for manpower, equipment, materials and rock at the mine.
