MONTREAL - GROUPE LAPERRIERE & VERREAULT has acquired Bracket Green, a specialist in industrial wastewater treatment. The British company is headquartered in Colchester and has a U.S. subsidiary in Texas. The move is expected to add close to $50 million to GL&V revenues.

Bracket Green has been in business for more than a century. Its expertise lies in advanced water screening and filtration at power plants and refineries as well as municipal and industrial wastewater treatment equipment. It can supply water treatment systems, spare parts, aftermarket services, and equipment rebuilds. The company employs about 170 people.

GL&V (www.GL&V.com) is well known to the mining industry for its mineral processing equipment, underground mining machinery, and wastewater treatment technologies.
