LONDON, U.K. - Women in Mining Community Portal Ltd. has just built and launched the global WOMEN IN MINING website (www.WomenInMining.net).
The portal, dedicated to all professional women in the natural resources sector, aims to be the first stop for news, events, seminars, jobs, who's who, contacts, education in mining, useful links, a databank of topical articles and more.
It is not designed to compete with existing news services and journals, rather it aims to offer women practical information on networking opportunities, business synergies, further education, job opportunities, and a forum to exchange views and find service providers. It will centre on two main pillars: information and business opportunities.
The portal will provide a platform for all WIM groups worldwide to communicate with each other and build relationships regardless of where they are based. In addition, it will endeavour to regroup all information in one place.
