NEWFOUNDLAND – Toronto-based Anaconda Mining has completed its second phase of diamond drilling on the Western Extension area at the Pine Cove gold mine on the Baie Verte Peninsula. The company has now traced the Western Extension discontinuously for approximately 100 metres.

The best assay was from hole PC-13-210 that intersected multiple intervals of mineralization which together assayed 2.34 g/t Au over 41 metres beginning at a depth of 51 metres. Hole 212 cut 7 metres of 3.05 g/t Au from a depth of 47 metre, including 2.0 metres of 7.73 g/t from a depth of 52 metres.

Anaconda is now in the process of reviewing all the data and is initiating a structural interpretation of the Western Extension area to guide future drilling activities. See AnacondaMining.com.
