Mali’s Minister of Mines visits Canadian uranium mine site

Mali's Minister of Mines, the Honourable M. Amadou Cisse, recently toured Rockgate Capital Corp.'s Falea project, the only potential uranium mine in Mali.

 Accompanied by a large party of government officials, technical advisors, and national media representatives, the Minister toured the camp, drill sites, and the local village. The visit was also attended by local leaders and dignitaries from the Village of Falea and surrounding communities.

 Rockgate President Karl Kottmeier said he was pleased with the success of the tour and with the Minister's "very clear" endorsement for the Falea project and that he encouraged the ongoing operations as a key part of the Malian government's desire for diversification within the country's gold-focused mining industry.
