MINING PEOPLE: AuRo Resources, Bluestone, Maya Gold & Silver, Mill Bay, Oracle Mining, and Tumi Resources

The new president and CEO at Vancouver-based AuRo Resources Corp. is Peter Tegart, and the new secretary and CFO is Cyrus Driver.

Bluestone Resources of Vancouver has named David McAdam to the roles of president, CEO and director. He was the financial lead in the consolidation of Easter Platinum and Barplats Investments. McAdam replaces Bruce Counts who remains a director of the company.

Montreal's Maya Gold and Silver has named CEO Noureddine Mokaddem to the role of president as well. He joined May in June 2012 as executive VP and COO. Maya is most interested in exploration projects in Morocco.

Kevin Whelan is the new president and CEO of Mill Bay Ventures of Vancouver. A graduate of the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, he replaces William Glasier, who will remain on the board.

Oracle Mining Corp. of Vancouver has tapped Rod Campbell to take up the duties of president. His is the holder of a BComm and BA from the University of Alberta and an MBA from the University of British Columbia. He is a financial professional with both private and public company experience.

Scott Emerson is now president and CEO of Vancouver-based Tumi Resources as well as a board member. He replaces former president and CEO David Henstridge, who will retain his seat on the board.
