Robert L. Byrd is the new president of Minera Triton S.A., a wholly-owned subsidiary of GLENCAIRN GOLD of Toronto. Triton owns and operates the Limon gold mine in Nicaragua.
Toronto-based ODYSSEY RESOURCES has shuffled its management team. Chairman Avrom E. Howard will resume the position of president and CEO following the resignation of Paul F. Matysek, who remains on the board. Howard is also Odyssey's exploration manager. John E. Buckle, who is also VP of the Association of Professional Geoscientists of Ontario, has been named VP marketing and investor relations. Finally, Hatem H. Kawar becomes secretary-treasurer in addition to his longstanding role as CFO.
