MANITOBA – BacTech Environmental Corp. has awarded the front end engineering design contract for a bioleach plant to Tetra Tech. The plant will be located at Snow Lake and is pivotal to the arsenic reclamation project involving an existing stockpile. Gold will be recovered as a by-product.

The FEED work is to be completed before the end of March 2013. The study will be the basis for detailed design engineering, including civil, mechanical, electrical and process automation.

BacTech has a contract with the Manitoba government to remediate an arsenopyrite residue stockpile at the former Snow Lake base metal mine.
