An estimated 27,500 delegates from around the world attended the annual Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada’s Conference, Trade Show and Investors Exchange in Toronto last month. In typical PDAC fashion, the four-day event was packed with events ranging from technical seminars, to product demonstrations, to celebrity appearances on the Investors Exchange floor to, naturally, the traditional hospitality suites scattered at hotels throughout Toronto’s downtown core. This year’s event also featured the timely display of the capsule used in the rescue of the 33 miners in Chile.
