ONTARIO – Vancouver-based Minfocus Exploration has signed a memorandum of understanding with Lac des Mille Lacs First Nation regarding exploration by Minfocus in the traditional territories of the First Nation. The agreement develops the relationship between the two parties and terms of reference for exploration activities as well as providing for the co-operative development of an impact benefits agreement should Minfocus’ exploration lead to more advanced work on the property.

The MOU covers the Chief Peter property platinum group element property 130 km northwest of Thunder Bay. The property is under option by Minfocus, which can earn a 100% interest from a private investor. The company plans a program of surface work and diamond drilling this summer.
