BRITISH COLUMBIA — The latest 43-101 numbers for the Belcourt coal property include 86 million tonnes of proven reserves in the North and South deposits. There are also 167 tonnes of measured and 4 million tonnes of indicated resources. Those numbers are sufficient to support a 4-million-t/y project for 15 years.

 

The Belcourt property is held by the Belcourt-Saxon Coal Limited Partnership, in which Peace River Coal and Western Canadian Coal are partners. The property is located 65 km south of Tumbler Ridge.
