DIAMOND EXPLORATION – Stornoway commissions DMS test facility

QUEBEC - Vancouver-based STORNOWAY DIAMOND CORP. has commissioned the DMS test facility at the Foxtrot joint venture with SOQUEM. The plant is now processing a 2,400-t bulk sample from the Renard 4 kimberlite. Stornoway has also collected 8,000 t from underground at the Renard 2 and 3 deposits.

The Foxtrot project is located in the Otish Mountains. The partners released a preliminary resource model indicating that Renard 2, 3, 4 and 9 contain 23.1 million to 27.5 million t of kimberlite hosting 17.5 million to 20.9 million ct of diamonds. Full information is posted at www.Ashton.ca.
