ONTARIO – Underground definition drilling at the Taylor gold project 50 km east of Timmins is returning high grades for owner St Andrew Goldfields of Toronto. The recent drill program was focused on the eastern portion of the 1004 lens of the West Porphyry zone.

Here are three of the best holes:

  • Hole T220-020: 14.12 g/t Au over 18.6 metres (21.67 g/t uncut), including 26.92 g/t over 4.6 metres (47.66 g/t uncut).
  • Hole T220-003: 11.56 g/t Au over 16.2 metres (13.14 g/t uncut), including 12.48 g/t over 14.7n metres (14.22 g/t uncut).
  • Hole T220-021A: 8.64 g/t Au over 10.7 metres (8.79 g/t uncut), including 11.46 g/t over 6.7 metres (11.67 g/t uncut).

SAS says this phase of drilling confirmed that wider, more continuous and higher grade zones are present along the eastern edge of the 1004 lens and that the zone remains open both to the east and at depth.

Additional assays are available at the company's website, SASgoldmines.com.
