ONTARIO – Abcourt Mines of Mont-St-Hilaire, QC, has signed an agreement with Aurbec Mines, a subsidiary of Maudore Minerals, for the treatment of ore from Abcourt’s Elder gold mine at the Sleeping Giant mill.

The Elder gold mine is located in Rouyn-Noranda, and the mineralized material will be transported by truck to the mill located about 80 km north of Amos. Shipping will begin as soon as Aurbec receives the relevant environmental permits and authorizations, perhaps the middle of September. The milling agreement is good for six months, and it may be extended if both parties agree.

Abcourt said is expects to ship about 39,000 tonnes of ore before the end of 2013. Further information about the company is available at Abcourt.com.
