QUEBEC – Goldcorp announced on March 3 that it has secured a bond in the amount of $40.1 million to cover all of the closure costs related to the Éléonore mine site in the James Bay region. The mine is to begin production later this year and ultimately produce 600,000 oz of gold annually.
