ONTARIO – Toronto-based Lake Shore Gold Corp. has completed the 50% expansion of its Bell Creek mill near Timmins, setting a record output of 12,800 oz in September at a daily average of 3,370 tonnes of ore. That puts the company on track to meet its 2013 guidance of 120,000 to 135,000 oz Au.

Total mill throughput in the third quarter was 202,300 tonnes, including 148,400 tonnes grading 4.9 g/t from Timmins West mine, 42,600 tonnes grading 4.2 g/t from Bell Creek and 11,300 tonnes grading 1.6 g/t from low grade stockpiles processed during mill commissioning.
