Eric Guo is taking over the role of CEO at Toronto-based Advanced Explorations. Former CEO John Gingerich will retain his titles as president and chairman.
Klondex Mines of Vancouver has named Brent Kristof to the position of COO, effective April 15, 2014. He has spent the past 13 years in senior roles for Newmont and Barrick. Most recently he was general manger of the Porgera gold mine in Papua New Guinea. Kristof holds a BSc in geological engineering from the University of Manitoba and a business diploma from the University of Toronto.
Jean-Pierre Jutras is the new president of Manson Creek Resources in Calgary. He has been VP of the company since 2000.
Based in Kearney, ON, Ontario Graphite has appointed Tom Burkett its CEO. He brings more than 30 years of graphite experience to the post and will work from the Toronto office.
The new CEO of Vancouver's Woulfe Mining Corp. is Michel Gaucher. He replaces Hubert Marleau who will remain on the company's board. Gaucher is CEO and chairman of Dynamis Group, president of College Stanislas of Montreal, and a director and member of several non-profit organizations. He holds a BA from College Stanislas, a BSc from Ecole Polytechnique of Montreal, an MBA from McGill University, and a LLB from the University of Montreal.
