Detour Gold of Toronto has announced the appointment of Paul Martin as president and CEO of the company. He had been interim CEO since November 2013. The new CFO is James Mavor.

Toronto-based Lydian International has named Howard H.J. Stevenson its new president and CEO, effective Feb. 24, 2014. He succeeds Dr. Timothy Coughlin who is retiring.

Orbite Aluminae of Montreal has promoted Glenn Kelly, formerly executive VP and COO, to the posts of president and CEO. Richard Boudreault has stepped down from the top jobs.

R.D. Patmore has joined Rainmaker Mining Corp. in Vancouver as president and CEO. He was president of Wellco Energy Services Trust until recently.
