MINING PEOPLE: Canarc, Rambler and Tesoro

Canarc Resource Corp. of Vancouver has appointed a new CEO, Catalin Chiloflischi. He is an economist with 20 years of experience in Canada, the United States, Europe and Asia. He is a graduate of the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest, Romania.

Norman Williams has been named president and CEO of Rambler Metals and Mining and George Ogilvie has been named chairman. Harry Dobson steps down as chairman but will remain on the board, replacing Brian Hinchcliffe who resigned.

Vancouver-based Tesoro Minerals Corp. has appointed John Gray as its new COO. He is a geologist with 20 years of experience in the Americas, Africa and Europe. He is also the CEO of Verde Resources.
