MINING PEOPLE: Columbus Exploration, Pele Mountain, Rockgate, Ryan Gold, and Savary Gold

Former Ontario cabinet minister John Wilkinson has joined the board of Pele Mountain Resources in Toronto. He has held cabinet positions in research and innovation, revenue and environment.

Rockgate Capital Corp. of Vancouver has rearranged its board and officers. Doug Ford, Edward Ford, Allen Ambrose, Gord Neal and Phil Williams resigned from the board, and Ron Hochstein, William Rand, W. Robert Dengler and Catherine Stefan, all current directors of Denison Mines, were appointed to fill the resulting vacancies. Karl Kottmeier and Bryan Hyde will remain on the board to aid in the Falea project transition. The company also received resignations from Karl Kottmeier, Doug Ford and Kirk Gamely in their capacities as officers of the company. Accordingly, Ron Hochstein (president and CEO), William Rand (chairman) and David Cates (CFO) and Sheila Colman (secretary) have been appointed in their stead.

Effective immediately, Murray John is the president and CEO of Toronto's Ryan Gold Corp. He has resigned his position as executive chairman of the company. David Schmidt, the interim president and CEO will take up the duties of VP corporate development.

Vancouver's Savary Gold Corp. has named Don Dudek president, CEO and a member of the board. The appointment follows the resignation of Charles Mostert.
