AuRo Resources of Vancouver has named John Buckle as president, COO and a director, promotion from his previous position as VP exploration. He has been president of the Canadian Exploration Geophysical Society, and president of the Association of Professional Geoscientists of Ontario. Buckle's most recent discovery was the El Domo polymetallic deposit in Ecuador.

Toronto’s Canada Lithium has made two key appointments at its Quebec lithium project near Val d’Or, QC. Yves Desrosiers is the new general manager and Joel Gagnon is the process plant manager. Until recently Desrosiers was the assistant general manager at the Mont-Wright iron ore complex in Quebec, and Gagnon was plant manager at the Essakane gold mine in Burkina Faso. Canada Lithium announced on June 4, 2012, that it has received the mining licence for the Quebec project.

Marcello Marchese is the new president of Finning South America, replacing Juan Carlos Villegas who was recently named executive VP of Finning International.

Mine Radio Systems (MRS) of Goodwood, ON, has hired Chris Luttrell to be its new marketing co-ordinator. His responsibilities will include the day-to-day functions of the MRS marketing department.

Nil Leblanc is the new CEO of Vanstar Mining Resources of La Prairie, QC. He is a veteran stock advisor at Scotia McLeod and Desjardins Securities. Leblanc replaced former CEO Guy Morissette who remains on the board.
