To celebrate its 25th anniversary, Multotec Zambia is opening a new facility which will serve as its Central Africa Regional Head Office.
The company says the office will strengthen its ability to deliver locally manufactured and refurbished equipment solutions to customers, improve availability and lead times and provide optimization support across the region.
Peter Mbada, Multotec’s managing director for Africa, says there is a growing demand for localized support in the region.
“The investment in Multotec’s Central Africa Regional Head Office and manufacturing facility in Chingola was approved in 2022 as a strategic hub to support customers across the Copperbelt, northwestern Zambia, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Malawi.” Mbada said in a news release.
The services offered will include engineering fabrication, pump refurbishment, ceramic lining, spares support and consignment stock management.
“Multotec Zambia remains committed to supporting the industry through innovation, local investment and long-term partnerships,” Mbada concluded.
