Western Global, a provider of fuel tanks, has launched FirePro, a new line of fire-protected bulk fuel storage tanks designed for both permanent and temporary installations.
Available in three tank sizes, the new line is UL2085 certified and California Air Resources Board (CARB) approved. The company says the tanks are designed to “exceed” these fire safety and environmental standards and can be used in highly regulated jurisdictions across the U.S.
“FirePro tanks represent a significant step forward in safety and versatility," said Ben Inkrott, the director of growth at Western Global. "By combining UL2085-certified protection with the turnkey convenience our customers expect, we’ve created a space-saving, portable solution that excels in highly regulated sites and critical remote job sites.”
In addition to its safety certifications, Western Global also highlighted the tanks’ mobility and storage flexibility. In a news release, it said the tanks’ four-way fork pockets allow for quick maneuvering when empty and the models are stackable two high when empty. All FirePro tanks come with an eight-year warranty.
