BRITISH COLUMBIA – Huldra Silver of Vancouver is approaching the commissioning of its 200-t/d silver mill at Merritt. The start day is targeted to be Aug. 7, 2012, using ore stockpiled in 1988. During the process, the tailings pond and civil works will be completed.

The company says the second stope at the eastern end of Level 1 of the mine has been mined to a height of 15 metres. The full height of 55 metres should be completely by the end of August. Three dozen other locations have been sampled and the assays are expected soon.

Huldra has also completed the engineering for removal of the crown pillar and backfilling of the first two stopes. Muck from these two stopes and a third one is expected to total 55,000 tonnes.

Further information including the technical report is posted at HuldraSilver.com.
