COAL STUDY: Reopening possible for Quintette mine

BRITISH COLUMBIA - Vancouver-based Teck Resources is undertaking a feasibility study aimed at possibly reopening the Quintette coal mine near Tumbler Ridge. Current strong demand for steelmaking coal has Teck considering its options. Quintette previously operated by open pit methods from 1982 to 2000 by a subsidiary of Denison Mines.
