DRILLING: Wabauskang, Hy-Tech create partnership

WABAUSKANG, Ontario – Four Directions Ventures and Hy-Tech Drilling have entered into a joint venture to provide drilling services within the traditional territory of the Wabauskang First Nation. Four Directions is an economic development agency acting on behalf of the Wabauskang First Nation. The partnership was negotiated over a period of several months which culminated with the signing of the agreement at the Canadian Aboriginal Mining Association Conference in Vancouver on Nov. 24, 2015. The agreement paves the way for more mining industry-related economic benefits to flow to the Northwestern Ontario First Nation. In addition, the partnership will create employment opportunities and provide ongoing training in diamond drilling to Wabauskang.
