BRITISH COLUMBIA - Barkerville Gold Mines of Vancouver has received the provincial permit for development of its Bonanza Ledge property near Wells.  The site is on the southwest face of Barkerville Mountain at an elevation of approximately 1,480 metres and within 2 km of Hwy 26.

Two bulk samples have been taken from the Bonanza Ledge site. Barkerville's current plans call for an open pit that will produce 73,000 tonnes of ore per year for four years. The average grade is 9.05 g/t Au. The ore will be treated at the company's QR mill.
