MANITOBA — Once again, San Gold is finding more gold in its Rice Lake mine at Bissett. Underground exploration has discovered multiple new high-grade gold zones above the eastern end of the 26th level. This is the first time that particular area has been drilled since the 1950s, according to the company. Six of seven holes returned significant values, one assaying 53.1 g/t Au over 2.4 metres and 6.0 g/t over 28.1 metres.

San Gold also reported finding numerous new high-grade veins between the 24th and 28th levels in an area approximately 200 metres wide and 400 metres long. "High-grade" in this case means as much as 138.0 g/t Au over 3.7 metres.
