Vancouver-based Batero Gold Corp. has named Dr. Roger Moss to the roles of president and CEO. He was instrumental in the discovery of a large gold deposit in Namibia and has conducted extensive research on hydrothermal ore deposits. He is the former president of Los Andes Copper and an adjunct professor of mineral engineering at the University of Toronto.
The new president and CEO of Vancouver's Catalyst Copper Corp. is David Laing, who replaces John Greenslade. Jeremy Crichton has been named CFO, replacing Denby Greenslade.
Logan Resources of Vancouver has named Stewart Wallis as president and CEO. His more than 40 years of exploration experience includes the discovery of several gold deposits in Canada and the western United States. Most recently he was president and CEO of Crosshair Energy.
John Blake has retired from Vancouver-based Luna Gold Corp. He is replaced as president and CEO by Geoff Chater who has been a director of the company since February 2013.
