Ned Goodman has resigned from the Barrick Gold board of directors. The Toronto-based company says he intends to focus on a new business venture in resources and other hard assets.

Montreal's GeoMegA Resources has a new president and CEO, L. Derek Lindsay, effective immediately.

Premier Gold Mines of Thunder Bay, ON, has asked Ron Little to join its board. He is currently president and CEO of Orezone Gold as well as one of its founders.

Mark J. Abrams is joining the technical advisory board of Viscount Mining Corp. in Vancouver. An exploration expert, he has worked for both Golden Predator and Agnico Eagle in the United States.
