Toronto-based Excellon Resources has named Denis Flood to the post of VP technical services. His previous undertaking was to improve mine design and process efficiency at the Resolution copper mine. He has also done similar work at the Musselwhite, Kidd, Nickel Rim South, and Fraser mines. Flood holds a BEng in mining from Dalhousie University. Herbert (Herb) G.A. Wilson has joined the senior management team of Vancouver’s Hudson Resources. Currently a director of the company, he will lead the engineering and procurement team overseeing the design and construction of the White Mountain anorthosite project. His title will be director, engineering development. Logan Resources of Vancouver has named Dr. Craig Bow as VP exploration. His has 35 years of domestic and international experience and was most recently a consulting geologist for AngloGold Ashanti. Richard W. Warke, the executive chairman of NewCastle Gold, is taking over the duties of CEO following the departure of former president and CEO David Adamson. The company also announced that R. Stuart (Tookie) Angus has been named a director of the company.
