Tim Cutt is the new president of BHP Billiton's Diamonds and Specialty Products division. The company is also relocating its offices from Vancouver to Saskatoon. A former president of ExxonMobil Canada, Cutt was also the president of Hibernia Management and Development. He is a graduate of Louisiana Tech University.

Forbes & Manhattan Coal of Toronto has strengthened its management team with the addition of Malcolm Campbell as COO, effective Aug. 1, 2011. He will be based in South Africa.

The new CEO of Vancouver's International Tower Hill Mines is James Komadina, effective June 1, 2011. He will step into the role currently held by Jeff Pontius, who will move to the board of directors. Komadina is a graduate of the University of Phoenix and the Wharton School of Business. He was COO of Brazauro Resources until its acquisition by Eldorado Gold.

Northern Freegold Resources of Vancouver has revamped its management as it prepares to advance the Freegold Mountain gold-copper project in the Yukon. William B. (Bill) Harris is stepping down from the chairman's job and will continue to be actively involved with the company. John Anderson is the new chairman. Susan P. Craig will step down as CEO but will continue as president. Tim J. Termuende has agreed to act as interim CEO.
