SILVER-LEAD-ZINC: JDS and Denham join forces to bring Silvertip mine into production

BRITISH COLUMBIA – JDS Silver has partnered with Denham Capital, a private equity firm, to put the Silvertip silver-lead-zinc mine into production. The property, formerly known as Midway, is located 16 km south of the Yukon border and 90 km southwest of Watson Lake, YT. Denham has agreed to supply JDS Silver with US$65 million to complete construction at the underground mine and concentrator. Full production is set to begin in October 2016.
