SASKATCHEWAN – Joint venture partners Fission Uranium Corp. and Alpha Minerals of Vancouver have decided to extend the summer drill program at the Patterson Lake South (PLS) uranium project by drilling 11 land-based targets west of the discovery zone. Drilling another 3,700 metres at an additional cost of $2.25 million will bring the total to 14,700 metres.

The land-based targets will be drilled within the PL-3B corridor that hosts the same in situ basement high grade uranium mineralization as the initial discovery zone. Previous drilling west of the discovery zone has been highly prospective but promising.
