Acquisition includes major gold property in Ontario

Premier Gold Mines Limited and Goldstone Resources Inc have just announced that Premier has completed its acquisition of Goldstone which includes 100% ownership of the multi-million ounce Hardrock Gold Project and provides Premier with control over the prime geological structures in the Geraldton-Beardmore Greenstone belt in Ontario.

The Goldstone acquisition will result in Premier holding several mineral deposits and prospect located along, or in close proximity to the Trans-Canada Highway. The Geraldton-Beardmore property portfolio will be called the "Trans-Canada Project" of which Hardrock will be the core project.

The Trans-Canada project consists of several claim groups with a cumulative strike length of 50 km of the district's most prospective geological structures that have seen more than 4.0 million ounces of historic production and a host of multiple gold deposits.
