MANITOBA – Rockcliff Copper Corp. of Toronto has issued the initial inferred estimate for the high grade Talbot deposit in the Flin Flon-Snow Lake greenstone belt. Rockcliff is earning a 51% interest in the property from Hudbay Minerals. The 43-101-compliant number is 2.17 million inferred tonnes grading 2.8% Cu, 2.2% Zn, 2.4 g/t Au and 54.6 g/t Ag inclusive of three zones (Main, Main FW and North Lens). Contained metal in the deposit includes 133.6 million lb of copper, 107.4 million lb of zinc, 165,400 oz of gold, and 3.8 million oz of silver. Rockcliff president and CEO Ken Lapierre said in a release, “The deposit remains open to the north and at depth … Additional work in 2016 will attempt to upgrade and expand the present deposit resource, to determine the significance of the newly discovered North copper zone located 2.5 km north of the deposit and to define the potential of the Central target located 2.0 km southeast of the deposit."
