ODYSSEY RESOURCES and BHP BILLITON are conducting a 50/50 joint venture for copper-gold porphyry targets in the Eastern Anatolides, located in Turkey. The Anatolides span the Tethyan orogenic belt, which extends from Europe to the Himalayan Mountains. This area is similar to porphyry districts in Chile and Peru, and is believed to host some of the world's largest copper-gold porphyry deposits. The partners plan to drill selected targets in 2003.
Odyssey was founded in 1994 with particular interest in the Mediterranean region, including North Africa and the Middle East. Visit the company's web site at www.odysseyresources.com
