BRITISH COLUMBIA – Vancouver’s Auryn Resources says that metallurgical testing of samples from the Homestake Ridge gold-copper project 30 km southeast of Stewart show good recoveries and the making of a 25.7% Cu concentrate. The tests were performed by TS Technical Services and Base Metallurgical Laboratories. Results from the preliminary metallurgical tests showed strong metallurgical recoveries and the ability to produce high value copper and lead concentrates from both the Homestake main and Homestake silver zones respectively. The lead concentrate of 26.5% Pb produced from the silver zone composites contained 789 g/t Au and 12,100 g/t Ag while the copper concentrate of 25.7% Cu produced from the gold zone composites contained 387g/t Au and 652g/t Ag. Auryn says the Homestake Ridge property hosts numerous epithermal occurrences. Based on work done in 2013 by former owner Homestake Resources, the project has indicated resources of 604,000 tonnes grading 0.181% Cu, 6.40 g/t Au and 48.3 g/t Ag plus inferred resources of 6.77 million tonnes grading 0.111% Cu, 4.19 g/t Au and 93.6 g/t Ag. The company has 10,000 to 15,000 metre drill program planned for next summer. The results will be available on Auryn’s website, www.AurynResources.com.
