GOLD: Detour drills 12.74 g/t over 28 metres south of mine

ONTARIO – Detour Gold Corp. of Toronto is getting high grades from drilling about 6 km south of the Detour Lake gold mine 185 km northeast of Cochrane. Zone 58N in what is called the Lower Detour Lake area returned a best intersection of 12.74 g/t Au over 28.0 metres.

Other uncut assays included 9.69 g/t over 30.3 metres; 11.82 g/t over 32.4 metres; 5.67 g/t over 34.0 metres; 5.04 g/t over 16.0 metres; 9.20 g/t over 22.0 metres; and 2.55 g/t over 31.1 metres.

Gold was also encountered 20 to 50 metres south of zone 58N, in zone 75. Assays included 4.31 g/t Au over 7.3 metres; 10.82 g/t over 7.0 metres; and 7.41 g/t over 5.1 metres.
