NOVA SCOTIA – The dewatering permit from the provincial environmental ministry has been received, and Ressources Appalaches of Rimouski, QC, can proceed with its underground exploration program at the old Dufferin gold mine near Port Dufferin. The company is ready to purchase equipment and hire certified staff to conduct the dewatering program.

When the underground workings are accessible, the company will proceed with sampling and mapping. Underground drilling will begin shortly after. There is also a processing plant that will be refurbished on the Dufferin site.
