GOLD EXPLORATION: Viking property yields 13.4 g/t Au

NEWFOUNDLAND - Northern Abitibi Mining of Calgary says hole 60 at its Viking gold property near Sops Arm encountered 0.7 g/t Au over 32.0 metres including 2.1 g/t over 8.5 metres and 13.4 g/t over 0.5 metres. Visible gold was noted in the core.

Two diamond drills are working at the Viking property. The 2010 drilling program is designed to outline lower grade mineralization along the Thor Trend and identify high-grade zones within the system. Surface trenching and mapping are also underway.
