QUEBEC – Metanor Resources of Val d’Or, QC, has increased its confidence level in the Barry open pit gold project with an updated and increased resource estimate. The update takes the measured and indicated resource to 8.42 million tonnes grading 1.13 g/t Au and the inferred resource to 31.92 million tonnes grading 1.02 g/t using a cut-off of 0.50 g/t. All together there are approximately 1.35 million oz of gold. The deposit remains open in all directions. Metanor counts the in pit resources as 5.24 million tonnes at 2.07 g/t Au or 347,350 oz. Ore from the Barry pit would be trucked to Metanor’s Bachelor Lake mill 65 km away in Le Sueur Township. Further information about all of Metanor’s projects is posted at www.Metanor.ca.
