QUEBEC – Monarques Resources of Quebec City plans to file the prefeasibility study for its Croinor gold project with SEDAR on or about Oct. 17. The property lies 70 km east of Val d'Or.
The original Croinor discovery was made in 1940. Monarques became the owner in 2014, noting that the project has measured and indicated resources of 960,700 tonnes at 7.45 g/t Au and containing 230,000 oz (at a 3 g/t cut-off). Using the same cut-off, the inferred portion is 227,800 tonnes at 7.03 g/t Au and containing 51,500 oz.
