Adventure Gold of Montreal has received assays from the last eight holes of this summer's 15-hole program at the Pascalis project near Val d'Or, QC. Between the surface and a depth of 200 metres several shallow dipping gold zones were intersected. Hole 80 returned 11.20 g/t Au over 5.0 metres, and hole 77 returned 6.00 g/t over 3.10 metres. Claude Resources of Saskatoon has drilled 26.77 g/t Au over 8.7 metres in the Santoy Gap at the Seabee gold mine 125 km northeast of La Ronge, SK. The Santoy Gap shows high grade and good widths hosted within three distinct vein systems. Longhole production at the Santoy Gap deposit has begun ahead of schedule. (ClaudeResources.com)

Montreal-based Dios Exploration has drilled what it calls a "significant" discovery, a hydrothermal-magmatic breccia pipe, dubbed Robino. Assays yielded up to 37.00 g/t Au, 14.00 g/t Ag with bismuth and molybdenum association. The company says this is the highest value ever discovered on the property, some 3.5 km from main Heberto gold showing at the AU33 property, in the James Bay region of Quebec. (DiosExplo.com)

Marathon Gold Corp. of Toronto has results from the Sprite zone at the Valentine Lake property 55 km south of Buchans, NL. Best intervals from shallow drilling targets included 1.53 g/t Au over 11.2 metres including 8.30 g/t over 0.8 metres and 1.39 g/t Au over 4.8 metres including 6.01 g/t over 0.8 metres. The Sprite zone is located 2 km northeast of the Leprechaun gold deposit. (Marathon-Gold.com)

Toronto's Northquest Ltd. reported the first batch of assay results from the 2014 drill program at the Pistol Bay project 60 km south of Rankin Inlet, NU. The Vickers target tested 1.65 g/t Au along 221.7 metres of core. (Northquest.biz)

Premier Gold Mines of Thunder Bay, ON, continues to drill the Hardrock gold project near Geraldton, ON. Recent assays included 3.01 g/t Au across 37.5 metres and 3.25 g/t across 23.0 metres. A preliminary economic assessment done for Hardrock demonstrated the potential for an open pit mine with an output of 200,000 oz of gold annually. (PremierGoldMines.com)

Rockhaven Resources of Vancouver has outlined a second high grade gold-silver discovery at the Klaza project 50 km west of Carmacks, YT. Drilling intersected 15.38 g/t Au and 740.00 g/t Ag over 1.5 metres at the Western Klaza zone. In terms of gold equivalent, that's a grade of 30.20 g/t AuEq. (RockhavenResources.com)

The management of Sirios Resources in Montreal says the new Jordi gold zone has returned assays of 6.90 g/t Au over 6.5 metres and 26.50 g/t Au over 0.6 metres. The core came from two holes drilled 420 metres apart, and both samples exhibited visible gold. The Jordi zone is part of the Cheechoo gold property in the James Bay area of Quebec. (Sirios.com)

Terrax Minerals of Vancouver has cut 2.9 metres at 33.60 g/t Au, 3.1 metres at 13.84 g/t Au, and 5.1 metres at 7.01 g/t Au at the Northbelt property, 15 km north of Yellowknife, NT. The mineralized intersections were encountered between 5.0 and 70.0 metres below surface. (TerraxMinerals.com)
