ONTARIO – Orefinders Resources of Toronto has begun production from the Mirado stockpile project near Kirkland Lake. Earthmoving, crushing, conveyor and loading equipment were mobilized to the site over the past week, and the company has begun crushing. Orefinders' estimates a crushing production rate of approximately 1,500 to 2,000 t/d. The crushed ore will be trucked to the mill at IamGold’s Westwood mine for processing. This is the first phase of work at Mirado, and it will help clean up the former mine site. The ore was blastrd in the pit during the 1980s. There is a inferred resources of 20,742 tonnes averaging 4.41 g/t and containing 2,939 oz of gold. More information about Mirado and various maps are available at www.Orefinders.ca.
