MALI – Robex Resources of Quebec City has announced plans to restart production at its Nampala gold mine in the third quarter of this year. When mining was suspended in October 2014, the mill was operating at a rate of 2,500 t/d, but the restarted project will be milling 4,000 t/d.

Restarting at a higher throughput will require the addition of certain equipment, including a grinding mill (unspecified) and four carbon-in-leach tanks with agitators, in the mill.

As well as pictures of the Nampala mine and mill, Robex maintains a gallery of the splendours of Mali at RobexGold.com
