ONTARIO – A memorandum of understanding regarding gold exploration work near Akow Lake has been signed by Toronto-based Romios Gold Resources and the North Caribou Lake First Nation. The goal is to establish a long term, mutually beneficial and co-operative relationship based on trust and certainty. Five holes were drilled at a copper-gold shear zone in the late 1990s. All intersected wide zones of mineralization over a strike length of more than 1,000 metres. One hole intersected such mineralization over 94.0 metres. Grab and channel samples collected in 1997 from an outcrop assayed between 12.26 g/t Au and 1,323.81 g/t. Romios plans to restart drilling when financing can be arranged. Additional information about the Lundmark-Akow Lake project are available at Romios.com.
